Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does a four-pack make one outlet control four loads?
No. It contains four separate one-outlet P115 plugs. Each requires its own receptacle, setup and load check; package quantity is not a combined electrical rating.
Explore this need in the finder →Can these plugs work with Apple Home through Matter?
The reviewed US P115 route lists Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings but not Matter or Apple Home. Choose a model whose exact US documentation lists the platform if Apple Home is essential.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I set routines and check energy usage?
TP-Link documents energy monitoring, weekly schedules, countdown/Auto-Off and Away Mode in the Tapo app. Treat these as app features rather than proof that every third-party voice assistant exposes them.
Explore this need in the finder →Assessment basis: this document-based assessment covers the US Tapo P115 four-pack route. I have not installed, measured, operated or load-tested these products. TP-Link's selected route and package field identify four P115 plugs, and its route image shows that package. The P115 two-pack is a different route; each plug is a one-outlet device with its own load limits.
Four independent indoor plugs
The P115 provides Tapo-app energy reporting and routine controls over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, with Bluetooth described for setup. TP-Link lists Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings for the reviewed US route. The checked model-specific materials do not establish Matter or Apple Home support. Do not transfer the P110M's Matter compatibility to this distinct model just because both carry the Tapo name. TP-Link describes energy statistics and billing estimates, alongside weekly scheduling, countdown/Auto-Off and Away Mode. These are different tools: a repeating schedule, a timed shutoff and an away-light routine do not mean the same thing. The energy function reports information in the app; the manufacturer materials reviewed here do not specify independent meter accuracy, a laboratory validation or guaranteed savings. A four-pack extends the feature set to more appliances, but not the proof level of the readings.Apply the appropriate rating to each load
The P115 general/resistive rating is 15 A / 1,800 W per plug. The support-linked datasheet gives a separate 8 A incandescent ceiling and a 1/6 hp maximum motor rating. None of these permits treating the highest headline as universal. Check the exact appliance nameplate and manufacturer instructions, including motor/compressor startup behavior. The ratings do not add up to a package-level 60 A or 7,200 W allowance: each plug controls a separate device, and the building circuit remains a separate consideration. Indoor-only use is explicit; these are not outdoor or damp-location plugs. There is a height conflict in the official sources: the product route says 60 mm while the datasheet says 66 mm. Width and depth align at 38 × 40 mm, or about 1.5 × 1.6 inches, but height remains unknown in the matching record. Treat even the consistent body dimensions as a starting reference, not a guarantee of clearance. Account for the wallplate, adjacent outlet, cord routing and furniture, and keep the button/outlet reachable.Network and setup expectations
TP-Link's product page describes local Tapo-app access to configured devices on the home LAN after internet loss. It does not establish remote-away operation with no internet, initial setup with no network, control if the router or Wi-Fi is down, or third-party assistant behavior in that condition. For a buyer whose requirement is local control, make sure the LAN/Tapo-app case matches the actual need. It is narrower than an all-outages promise. TP-Link's support page lists multiple P115 hardware branches and the product route itself does not prove which suffix will be in a particular seller box. More importantly, two support links that appear to refer to P115 documents resolve to PDFs headed for other models (P110 and P105). Those mismatched files are not used to establish this review's features. The route's own product information and a P115-specific datasheet support the core assessment, while height and exact retail revision remain caveats.Who should consider a four-pack
This package can be a reasonable shortlist candidate when four separate indoor devices fit the per-plug class limits and the buyer values Tapo energy reporting, schedules and the listed voice integrations. Do not choose it for outdoor service, a motor beyond 1/6 hp, an incandescent load above 8 A, Apple Home/Matter requirements, or a guaranteed third-party energy display. Verify package contents, seller/model suffix, actual appliance ratings and outlet clearance before purchase. A dated empty CPSC exact-name query is not a safety certification or future recall result. No hands-on test, reliability study, measured energy comparison, review score or seller-stock statement is claimed here.Key specifications
